Summary
Run by a member of the British Bee Keepers Association and the Bee Farmer’s Association, The Bee Farmer puts on a range of workshops for professionals, students and all those interested in the amazing art of bee keeping.
The honeybee experience day and colony visits will provide you with a hive of activity and enjoyable learning opportunities. On the one-day introduction to beekeeping course, you can discover more about the history, biology and life cycle of honeybees, as well as understanding the inner workings of the hive.
Colony visits are hosted by Cattows Farm in north west Leicestershire which also has a tea room to enjoy your special afternoon tea. Next to the tea room is a farm shop where you can buy farm-grown and local produce.
